🐝 who am i?

I'm Hoshi! I want to share my work and my thoughts, so I made this website. Things I share include my art, language stuff and computer fluff.

I know how to webweave. But in the past I constantly tried to figure out: 'what should I put on my website?'. Fortunately, I learned Toki Pona in 2023 and decided I wanted to create things using it.

I am currently translating a Pokémon game to Toki Pona!

• Likes: toki pona, tuna sandwiches, teaching, video games and their OSTs, sheep, programming, old computers, colorful art, eyeliner.
• Music I like: I like many, but right now I'm in love with: G.N.S by Tricot, Sever the Skyline by Maxo, Fly in the Freedom by SEGA SOUND TEAM, International Colouring Contest by Stereolab.
• Games I love: Dark Souls, Celeste, Shadow of the Colossus.
• MBTI: INFP.
• Headnouns: Toki Pona: mun, soweli, ewe. jan is fine I guess.
• My Toki Pona oddities: My name Hoshi is not Toki Pona compliant, but I don't want to change nor rewrite it. I like the non canonical head noun ewe for fun, but it means female sheep to me, as in English, not molten rock.

🪐 about this website

Originally, this website was named Little Planet in English (in Toki Pona, mun sike lili). The internet is like a universe because it holds many websites/files just like the universe holds many celestial bodies, By that analogy, this website is like a little planet to me. Plus:

• Sonic CD is one of my favorite games, and its setting is called Little Planet.
• It sounds very cute lol.
